In 2003, the Rohden Group began the project to install a flat glass processing unit. With the support of an important international partner and a large investment in state-of-the-art equipment, in 2005 Rohden Vidros was born.
In the first months of its inauguration, Rohden Vidros obtained the certificate from INMETRO and the Falcão Bauer Quality Institute for the NBR 14698 standard for tempered glass, becoming the youngest company to achieve the certificate.
Seeing a broad market, in addition to Rohden's own supply, expansion began in 2008. Rohden Vidros started to manufacture for specific markets, aligning the already known quality of the doors to enter more technical glasses, with more added value and technology.
Initially installed in the city of Taió (SC), the company expanded with another manufacturing unit, located in the city of Pouso Redondo (SC), to meet the growing demand, reaching almost 20,000m² of built area.
Rohden Vidros has a pioneering spirit and is constantly evolving. It guarantees the specialization of your team through external training, surveys, national and international fairs. It has the Rohden Lab, a laboratory with a structure designed to carry out research and tests. And it invests in the continuous modernization of its structure, manufacturing equipment and solutions.
Still supported by the experience and tradition of the Rohden Group – which has operated since 1938 in the national and international markets –, Rohden Vidros operates in several segments such as commercial refrigeration, white goods, wood/furniture industry.
